Each year, thousands of Virginians band together to help Massey in its battle against cancer. From bike rides and 5ks to tea parties, concerts and golf tournaments, more than 60 events throughout the state raise significant funds to support lifesaving cancer research at Massey.

Women & Wellness
October and February | Thirty years of women empowering women in the cancer fight
Women and Wellness has been a cornerstone of philanthropic engagement at Massey for over a century, celebrating the power of women in the fight against cancer. Driven by passionate volunteers, Women and Wellness has raised more than $5 million supporting efforts to prevent, detect and treat women's cancers.
The February luncheon kicks off with a campaign each October during Play It Forward, a tennis tournament to rally support for finding a cure for women's cancers.

Massey Challenge
April | Annual event tied to the Ukrop's Monument Avenue 10K
Use your 10k to honor those who have battled cancer, to unite the community towards a world without cancer, and to fund cures for cancer right here in Richmond. Virtual and in-person opportunities to participate.

Massey on the River
September | Annual young professionals evening event
Hosted by the Massey Alliance, Massey on the River is Richmond's best end of summer party. Join us for a fun night featuring live music, great food and drink from many of Richmond’s top breweries, wineries and distilleries, while supporting innovative research and advances in cancer treatment and care at Massey.

Swimmers of all ages and levels are invited to take part in the 5th annual Richmond benefit swim at Quest Swimming. Your participation will help us make waves to fight cancer and raise money for cancer research, prevention and treatment.
Dunk for a Cure is hosted by the Fight Cancer Stay Positive Foundation to benefit Massey. Whether you participate as a dunkee, through donating or by volunteering, be part of the positivity. Proceeds from the event will, in part, benefit life-changing research and early detection programs at Massey.
Join us at the beautiful Golf Club at The Highlands for this annual golf tournament. This special fundraising event is dedicated to the eradication of breast, head and neck cancer through innovative research and compassionate care.
The 15th annual ScucciFest offers a family friendly day of music, fun, food and friends along the James River. Enjoy entertainment from top-talent local bands, food, beverages and games for all ages, and pay tribute to the memory of Michael R. Pascucci.
Join the William & Mary Tribe Track & Field and Cross Country teams as they put cancer on the run! They will be back this year for the 36th annual 5k on their beautiful and historic campus.
