Volunteer with patients
VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center has many volunteer opportunities available for working in the outpatient clinics and inpatient units on a weekly basis. All volunteers must first complete the hospital volunteer application, health screening and orientation prior to being cleared to work with any unit at the VCU Medical Center, including Massey. Virtual volunteering
VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center has a number of opportunities to support our patients that can fit with any schedule. Our virtual volunteer opportunities include tasks such as running a book or clothes drive, creating comfort kits or crafting items for our patients that would lift their spirits. Volunteer for a fundraising event
VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center raises over $1 million annually through our special event program. Volunteers are essential to this success and help us plan, implement and staff various fundraising events.
