Richmond Magazine released its annual list recognizing the top providers in the Richmond region, and more than 30 providers at VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center were named among the publication’s “Top Docs 2025.” These physicians provide a variety of oncology-related care to Massey’s patients, including eight providers who care for pediatric patients in partnership with the Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU.
Overall, more than 200 VCU Health providers were featured in the magazine’s annual list.
“Having hundreds of our team members featured on Richmond Magazine’s Top Docs list shows their unending dedication to the individual needs of our patients,” said Marlon Levy, M.D., M.B.A., CEO of VCU Health and vice president of VCU Health Sciences. “Hospitals and health care centers serve as a cornerstone for our communities, so it is truly an honor to receive this recognition—by our community—for our team’s tireless work to preserve and restore the health of each person who comes into our care.”
As part of the magazine’s April issue, Patrick Nana-Sinkam, M.D., pulmonologist and researcher at Massey, as well as the vice president of clinical and translational research at VCU Health, was featured in an article about the impact of clinical research on the community.
